Gaudenzia Gaudenzia
is always seeking volunteers who, through their involvement | "Several years ago I was looking for the “right” agency to volunteer for. A friend of mine asked me to get involved in building a playground. I visited the agency and found that I could best use my time helping them with their $1.1 million capital campaign. I agreed to be co-chair of the campaign primarily because I saw a truly outstanding agency with high quality employees and programs. It did not take long to recruit a campaign community as other people were equally impressed. The campaign was a success due to the dedication and outstanding work of the volunteers and the generous financial support from the community and local and state governments. I agreed to continue working on the agency’s Advisory Board and help in any way I can to make this truly remarkable agency even better. I am confident that I made the “right" choice.” Jim Wellendorf Volunteer Co-Chair of Capital Campaign "I have been a Gaudenzia volunteer since 1996, devoting some of my efforts to special events like the Annual Dinner/Auction Fundraiser. The greatest satisfaction I have found is volunteering in any way that will help change the lives of men, women and children who are going through Gaudenzia’s many programs. Gaudenzia helps them regain their self- esteem and become better human beings, family members and productive members of their communities and I am proud to help in anyway I can." Gene Veneziale "Working with the women and children is a way that I can give back to the community and let them know that there are many people who care.” Dorothy
